Toyota began participating in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) in 2004 with four teams -- Bang Racing, Bill Davis Racing, Innovative Motorsports and Darrell Waltrip Motorsports.
Travis Kvapil captured Toyota’s first NCWTS victory at Michigan in 2004. Since that time, Tundra drivers have won a total of 99 races in the series, including 48 over the past four seasons (2009-2012), with Kyle Busch winning 21 of those races in just 50 starts. Toyota has won five NCWTS Manufacturer’s Championships, while drivers Todd Bodine (2006 and 2010) and Johnny Benson (2008) have won Driver’s Championships.
Tundra drivers registered 13 victories during 2013 on the way to clinching Toyota’s sixth NCWTS manufacturer’s championship. Busch led the way with five wins as his Kyle Busch Motorsports team captured the NCWTS owner’s championship.
Toyota has recorded 112 victories in the NCWTS.
