DOWN TO THE WIRE – The #01 Telmex Lexus driven by Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas is still in contention for a second consecutive Rolex Sports Car Series championship in this weekend’s season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Ending the season with another championship title is certainly possible for the duo, as they enter the finale in third place, only 10 points behind the leading #99 car and two points behind the #10.

Over the course of this season, the #01 Lexus has registered two victories, six podium finishes and 10 top-10 finishes. Pruett is looking for a third Rolex Series crown, while it would be the second title for Rojas. In addition, their Chip Ganassi Racing team is shooting for its fourth team championship, having won previous titles in 2004, 2006 and 2008.

UPFRONT - After qualifying sixth at the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona, the #01 Telmex Lexus has now qualified in the top three in each of the last 10 races. Over that span, the team has also accumulated four pole positions, five second-place qualifying efforts and started third once.

In addition to qualifying upfront, the #01 Lexus has led more laps than any other team in the series with 406 -- 120 more than the second-highest total. Individually, Scott Pruett leads the series with 191 laps led and Memo Rojas is third with 162.

LAST RACE – Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas combined to finish third in the most recent round of the Rolex Sports Car Series at the Miller Motorsports Park in Toelle, Utah. Rojas, who had been ill all weekend, started the race in third and was able to hold a top-five position when he turned the car over to Pruett just past the 30-minute mark of the race. The two-time series champion gained two positions in the pits, but was unable to move up any further on the tight Utah road course.

LEXUS AT HOMESTEAD – Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas paired to lead 51 of the 99 laps in the #01 Telmex Lexus on the way to their second consecutive Rolex Sports Car Series win to open the 2008 season at Homestead-Miami Speedway. In five appearances at Homestead, the #01 has also registered third-place finishes in both 2006 and 2007.

IN THE RECORD BOOKS – The Chip Ganassi Racing Lexus team enters into this weekend’s race as the winningest team in Rolex Sports Car Series history with 23 victories. Lead driver Scott Pruett has won more races than any other driver in Rolex history with 22, while also holding the record for most podium finishes with 47. Despite its relatively late entry into the series in 2004, Lexus is second among manufacturers in all-time victories with 25 wins to date.

2009 Wins: Watkins Glen Six Hours (Pruett/Rojas), Mid-Ohio (Pruett/Rojas)
