Lexus Starting Positions:
#01 Rojas/Pruett 1st
Memo Rojas: “I really have to congratulate the whole Ganassi team. We struggled yesterday, in part due to the colder weather. We weren’t really sure where we were headed. We had a long debrief after yesterday’s practice and made some really big adjustments and it paid off today. We know we have a good car for tomorrow. Now we need to keep it on the track and stay out of trouble. We need to start making up some ground in the championship race after some bad luck the past couple of races.”
Scott Pruett: “Memo did a great job again today and it’s a huge plus to start upfront here. The biggest challenge for tomorrow will be continuing to adjust along with the weather. It was in the upper 50s yesterday (Friday) and it’s at least 20 degrees warmer today and it’s supposed to be even warmer tomorrow. We’re going to need to address the affects and adjust accordingly.”
