Biography

Print
Toyota dealer Mike Sullivan is back for his third Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race. He “loves his chances” this year and is throwing down the gauntlet: “I have conquered Donnie Osmond and Coolio…Bring this new group on!”

Sullivan, an avid athlete who enjoys skiing and surfing, will be racing in the annual dealer seat. He is the owner of Toyota of Santa Monica and Toyota of Hollywood among his eight “L.A. Car Guy” stores. Currently, he is the owner of the top three largest hybrid dealerships in the United States, two of which are Toyota stores.

Sullivan is just as avid in his commitment to causes that benefit the community, with a list of involvement that is both impressive and extensive. Racing for Kids fits nicely among his volunteer efforts including the Red Cross, United Way, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, Thalians, Los Angeles Orphanage Guild, Salvation Army, Heal the Bay, Boy Scouts of America, Association for Breast Cancer and the American Junior Diabetes Association, among others. He received the Anti-Defamation League award in the early 1990s.
