

Currently, Gibbs is the driving force of the Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) professional Supercross/Motocross program (JGRMX). Prior to the formation of JGRMX, he helped start the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series program at JGR in 2000, where he assembled a team that included himself as the driver. In 2001 he had two top-five finishes and seven top-10 finishes. In 2002 he led the program to a 10th place overall spot in the final point standings, including 14 top-10 finishes. He then went on to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series program at JGR and finished his rookie season with two top-10 finishes. Since then, the JGR Nationwide program has grown into a key element of the organization, now fielding a multi-car effort within its own race shop.
Highlights:
• Was a stand-out linebacker during collegiate years at Stanford University from 1991-1994.
• Former Offensive Quality Control Coach for the NFL’s Washington Redskins.
• Worked as a lower assembly specialist for JGR’s NHRA Funny Car
