

Slater has an impressive career that ranges from film to television to stage, with roles as varied as Henry Spivey from the NBC drama “My Own Worst Enemy” to Tom in the Broadway performance of “The Glass Menagerie.” Over the course of his career, Slater has worked with directors such as Francis Ford Coppola, Michael Lehmann and Jean-Jacques Annaud to craft memorable performances.
Slater’s lead role as Clarence Worley in the Quentin Tarantino–written “True Romance” earned the actor a cult following.
In 2007, he went to London and starred in the sold-out play “Swimming With Sharks.” It was a return to the stage there, after twice playing Randle P. McMurphy in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” in the West End in 2004–06, for which he won awards.
Most recently, Slater has starred in ABC’s drama “The Forgotten,” which is one of the network’s highest-rated original series. Slater’s role in “My Own Worst Enemy,” playing a dual-personality man who lives two lives, earned him critical praise and a wide audience.
