

Brody is best known for his role in Roman Polanski’s “The Pianist,” a film based on the experiences of Holocaust survivor Wladyslaw Szpilman. In addition to an Oscar, Brody earned Best Actor honors from the National Society of Film Critics for his performance, plus nominations for Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and BAFTA awards.
The actor has recently played leading roles in Wes Anderson’s “The Darjeeling Limited” and Rian Johnson’s “The Brothers Bloom.” He also stars in a number of upcoming releases, including “Predators,” from director Nimród Antal, and the comedy “High School,” written and directed by John Stalberg.
The award-winning actor was born and raised in New York City, where he studied drama at the LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
In 2010, Brody will be driving in his second Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race.
