NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS)
NEWS, NOTES & NUMBERS: This year, Toyota drivers have combined for nine wins, 25 top-five results, 52 top-10 finishes and four poles after 24 of 36 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) races … Four Camry drivers are in the top-20 in the NSCS point standings -- Kyle Busch (third), Denny Hamlin (fifth), David Reutimann (17th) and Martin Truex Jr. (20th) … Both Red Bull Camrys (Nos. 82 and 83) finished in the top-10 when the NSCS visited Atlanta Motor Speedway earlier this year … Toyota is currently second in the NSCS manufacturer point standings -- 27 points behind Chevrolet.

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 Pedigree Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

How will the race at Atlanta impact your team for the Chase?
“I feel like going on into Atlanta, it’s going to be a test for us to see how good we are again at the mile-and-a-half stuff, and then we go to Richmond, another one of our race tracks that I tend to run well at and Dave (Rogers, crew chief) gave me an awesome car last time. So looking forward to that, and then the Chase starts. We hit reset and we’ve got ten weeks to show what we’ve got, and hopefully it’s enough.”

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 Sport Clips Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

How important are the 10 bonus points for wins heading into the Chase?
“We’re in the position where if we don’t win, this weekend really doesn’t mean that much to us. Our attitude is to throw whatever we can at the car. If we feel like we’re off, we’re going to take some risks and maybe run terrible, but maybe hit that magical setup and go out there and win and get 10 more bonus points for the Chase. Right now, it’s more about building momentum than anything.”

NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS)
NEWS, NOTES & NUMBERS: This year, Toyota drivers have combined for 13 wins, 53 top-five results, 106 top-10 finishes and 12 poles after 25 of 35 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) races … Camry drivers Kyle Busch (third), Steve Wallace (seventh), Trevor Bayne (eighth), Joey Logano (ninth) and Jason Leffler (10th) are in the top-10 in the NNS point standings … Busch currently is tied with Sam Ard for the most NNS wins in a single season at 10 … Toyota holds a 43-point advantage over Chevrolet in the manufacturer point standings with 10 races remaining in the 2010 NNS season.

BRIAN SCOTT, No. 11 AccuDoc Solutions Toyota Camry, Braun Racing

Do you enjoy racing at Atlanta?
“I love Atlanta. Atlanta is one of the faster mile-and-a-half tracks that we go to on new tires, and it also challenges you the most with wearing them out and sliding around. It can be a really, really fun place. When your setup’s right, you can run high against the wall and you can run on the bottom. I don’t think I’ve ever had to hang on more at a place than I have at Atlanta in the truck when we were loose there. It can provide a lot of challenges, but it can be very rewarding and make you feel very good about yourself.”

How does your experience in the Truck Series compare to the Nationwide cars?
“It’s different, but in some ways it’s a lot the same. You’re obviously trying to accomplish the same thing and trying to get the same feel -- to be fast without feeling out of control, but be on the edge with control. That’s the same between a truck and a Nationwide car, it’s just you go about it a little different way. When they feel right and they feel 100 percent perfect, they just have a slightly different feel and you just have to adapt to that. I think I am far enough along in the season in Nationwide now and comfortable enough in the cars to know what I need from a Nationwide car and how it will feel different when it’s right compared to the Camping World Truck.”

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 NOS Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

How important is getting an 11th win and breaking the record for Nationwide wins in a single season?
“It’s pretty awesome. To me, it’s cool to have the opportunity. We’ve got 10 more races left or to get the opportunity to do it. Hopefully, luck can fall our way and we can get number 11. Number 11 is going to be pretty special because for one, it’s never been done before. For two, it brings one of our crew members that has never been to victory lane before to victory lane. I’ve mentioned it before, Leo Thorsen, the car chief on our car for some reason just doesn’t like coming to victory lane, but I told him on win number 11 when I break the record for most wins and you’re a part of it, I said, ‘You’re coming to victory lane and getting your picture taken and hanging it up on the wall for your kids to see he was a part of it.’ Kevin Grubb, the engine tuner, he was with Sam (Ard) back when Sam won 10, so it’s pretty cool to have him here now.”

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS)
NEWS, NOTES & NUMBERS: This year, Tundra drivers have combined for 10 wins, 42 top-five results, 85 top-10 finishes and eight poles after 17 of 25 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) races … Todd Bodine continues to lead the NCWTS point standings with a 236-point lead over second-place Aric Almirola … Timothy Peters (fourth), Mike Skinner (eighth), David Starr (ninth) and Justin Lofton (10th) are also in the top-10 in the point standings for Toyota … Tundra drivers have four straight race wins -- Bodine at Nashville (Aug. 7) and Darlington (Aug. 14), and Kyle Busch at Bristol (Aug. 18) and last week at Chicagoland (Aug. 27) … Busch earned the 75th series win for a Tundra last Friday at Chicagoland … Toyota has a 10-point advantage over Chevrolet in the manufacturer point standings with eight races remaining in the 2010 NCWTS season..

MIGUEL PALUDO, No. 77 Stemco Duroline Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing

What are your expectations for the race at Kentucky?
“Kentucky Speedway will be a completely new experience for me with the Stemco Duroline Tundra. The track is wider, faster, longer than any oval course I have raced. This is where I will benefit from the experience and leadership of Germain Racing and their longstanding relationship with Toyota. My teammate, Todd Bodine, gave me very good advice for Bristol and I was able to work with him during the race. We will talk again before Kentucky. I’m very excited to see what we can accomplish there after we had such a good debut.”

How big of a benefit is having Todd Bodine as your teammate?
“Having a teammate that is the Truck Series points leader has been a benefit to me. We talk about the lines getting around the track, the best way to pass at the track. Todd (Bodine) gives me very good information, and Germain Racing prepares very good race trucks. We are looking forward to learning about racing on the mile and a half race tracks when we get the Stemco Duroline Tundra to Kentucky Speedway.”

ARIC ALMIROLA, No. 51 Graceway Pharmaceuticals Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports

Are you looking forward to racing at Kentucky?
“I’m excited about going to Kentucky. We led laps there and we had a really good truck there last year. Right there at the end of the race pit strategy-wise we didn’t seal the deal and we weren’t able to get to victory lane. We had a really good truck there and I was proud of how well we ran and we led some laps, so that was good for us. Going back there I think we have a really good understanding of what we need to do to be fast. I’m looking forward to going to Kentucky.”
