DIXON WATCH – After winning three races in four weeks, Larry Dixon will strive to continue his dominating 2010 campaign in Seattle. Overall, Dixon has seven wins in 13 races and even more impressively, he’s won six of the last nine events. Over those nine races, Dixon has compiled a 28-3 record in elimination runs and recorded four pole positions and eight top-three qualifying efforts. No other driver has won more than 20 elimination rounds over that span.

BROWN ON THE RISE – Antron Brown has climbed to fourth in Top Fuel points after a stellar month of June which saw him make two finals, and a semi-final in four races. In addition to his Sunday success, Brown also has qualified first twice, second and fourth in the last five races.

WORSHAM TOO... – Toyota Camry Solara Funny Car driver Del Worsham also has shown he intends to be a contender for a 2010 title. In the last three races, he reached the finals at Englishtown and the semi-finals at both Bristol and Norwalk. Most impressive is that he’s defeated top competition in the process. He has knocked off 2009 champion Robert Hight twice and Jack Beckman, who’s currently in fourth-place, three consecutive weeks. With his recent success, Worsham is now less than 100 points out of fourth with three races remaining before the Countdown.

LAST YEAR AT SEATTLE – Last year in Seattle, Antron Brown scored his fourth win of 2009 in defeating Tony Schumacher and maintained his edge in the Top Fuel point race in the process. Larry Dixon, Morgan Lucas and Shawn Langdon all advanced to the second round before being eliminated. In Funny Car, both Del Worsham and Cruz Pedregon lost in the opening round.
