2010 Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Team Summer Schedule

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (May 14, 2010) – With summer upon us it’s time to enjoy the outdoors, and for the Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Team that means the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series and most likely the Summer X Games.

Josh Grant and Justin Brayton both campaigned their rookie premier class motocross seasons last year. Grant podiumed three times and won the overall at the Buchanan, Mich. round. While second in series points, Grant was injured at X Games 15 and despite a heroic effort to finish the season with severely injured ankles was forced to miss the last five motos of the series (each round consists of two motos, he missed the second moto at Budd’s Creek on Aug. 22 and then the remaining two rounds of the series). He was still sixth overall. Brayton won the final moto of the series and an overall podium at the Export, Penn. round for seventh overall. Both riders are 100% healthy and prepared to race.

In 2010 every premier class event with the exception of the season opener (which will have next day coverage) will be aired same day, or live. There will be three live NBC broadcasts, and two live SPEED broadcasts. In addition, the first motos will all air live on www.allisports.com. Allisports.com is the official website of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series.

In 1972 the first supercross race was held in the Los Angeles Coliseum, and at X Games 16 the Super X competition will be held in the historic stadium once again. The X Games are invitation only, and both Josh Grant and Justin Brayton have been invited to participate in Super X, and Grant has also been asked to compete in the Best Whip event. X Games 16 will take place from July 29 through Aug. 1, with live television coverage from ESPN and ESPN2. The team will make the final determination as to whether one or both riders will participate as the event draws closer based on the status of each rider in the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series at that time.
