From where I was the race was quite pleasant! I haven't been up front in a race like that for donkey's years. I wish it was a bloody Le Mans race that I'd won like this - in a Toyota of course!

I had a reasonable start. People were overtaking before the last turn and we hadn't even seen the green flag, so I thought "I've got to go". I didn't think they'd penalize us. But I wasn't the only one to overtake, there were others too, so I went

I saw in practice that the others were braking very early for Turn 2, but I kept it to myself - as that's really the only place to overtake safely - and overtook three of them going into Turn 2 when they were braking and I was still full on it. Buzzing by them was such a great feeling. I couldn't believe it.

I've only ever raced a front-wheel drive car once before, in 1967, a Mini Cooper, so I'm no expert there. But I have to say, you have to be so precise with the brakes. I have a friend, Michael Galati, who would have murdered me in one of these things, and he'd have given me all sorts of crap about why I didn't go quicker. But I was quick enough to win!

It's such an honor to be part of this Race of Legends. These guys are my heroes, and some of them were Indy winners before I started racing. It's been fantastic to drive with them and fantastic to spend time with them this weekend.

But while I have had an enormous amount of fun, the important thing is that through this race with Toyota, we have raised $25,000 for charity. I have two charities that I want to donate to. The first is Hope for Tomorrow. It picks up and delivers cancer patients from their homes in small villages to hospitals for treatment in the UK. The second is the Florence Fuller Foundation for terminally ill children, which is based in Boca Raton, FL.

I want to thank everyone involved in this Race of Legends event, especially the people at Toyota. I had a lot of fun, met some old friends, and raced some of my heroes - and all the while raising money for charity. Thank you.
